The job of a fire fighter is one of the most rewarding yet demanding job today. It requires the candidate to be physically fit, both in strength and endurance. But one of the most daunting task for a firefighting candidate is preparing for the CPAT. It is essential to build your core strength and one way to accomplish this in addition to strength training is wearing a weight vest. There are many companies selling weight vests for the CPAT but the weight vests in this section were designed specifically for the CPAT/Fire Fighters training and testing. The weight vests are basically one size fits all and are made to last. The CPAT weight vests are adjustable in weight from 1 lb to 75 lbs. The weight vest were made to simulate the weight of the fireman's coat, hat, hose, etc. as with the CPAT exam.
